Zap Teez Printing T-shirt Deliveries

How are those amazing Zap Teez printed?

First of all, it is important to understand that their are many different types of t-shirt decorating processes.  In regard to the printing process alone, we have the option of thermal transfer print, screen printing, sublimation, direct to garment (digital), rotary printing, etc.  The method selected is generally determined on a style by style basis.

In addition to different printing processes, we have the option of various inks & dyes to consider during the manufacturing process.  The primary options in this regard are typically deciding between the use of pigment, reactive, discharge, or plastisol.  Using neon inks, glow in the dark, glitters, gels, metallics, shimmer inks, etc., are additional considerations.

Zap Teez may use small to medium size local print shops or large scale international garment printing factories.  The type of print process that we utilize will be dependent on the complexity of our illustration or other aspects of the garment that we have designed.  Certain types of artwork may require a different printing process than others.  Also, the process may be dependent on the garments fiber content or other characteristics of the fabric.

Our goal is to provide a soft hand to the fabric, but the type of fabric, printing technique, inks, etc., have a role to play.  Not every printing process offers the same soft outcome.  We do our best to blend high quality artwork with appropriate manufacturing decisions.

Many of the items sold by Zap Teez are manufactured by other companies entirely.  We often rely on external resources to manage the manufacturing process on our behalf.  This allows us to have more time for developing our amazing graphic illustrations.  Similar to the blank t-shirts, we utilize many different resources.
